Galactus: The Marvel God REALLY Isn't as Powerful as He Should Be.

Galactus, Marvel's giant-size world-devourer isn't as strong as he used to be, and he's been taken down in several recent Marvel stories.

(Warning : The following contains spoilers for Marvel Zombies: Resurrection #1 by Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Leonard Kirk, Rachelle Rosenberg, and VC's Travis Lanham;  Thor #6 by Donny Cates, Nic Klein, Matt Wilson, and VC's Joe Sabino; and Fantastic Four: Antithesis #1 by Mark Waid, Neal Adams, Mark Farmer, Laura Martin, and VC's Joe Caramagna, all on sale now.)

The Marvel Zombies are back with Marvel Zombies: Resurrection, and this series has some key differences from the original Marvel Zombies world. However, one plot point remains the same in the newest world of Marvel's undead: Galactus met a messy end in the conflict.

While he was eaten by the unliving in the original Marvel Zombies world, this timeline sees his body is found floating in space and becomes the point of origin for the zombie infestation, and that's just one of several times the World-Devourer has died in recent weeks.
